Rare Keith1010 Posted April 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2017 This is a good read from the Travel Section of the New York Times that I thought those of you who are visiting Vancouver might want to read along with those considering a visit or even those who have previously visited this beautiful city. Rare martincath Posted April 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2017 That's a very well-written piece Keith, thanks for sharing. Very interesting to see someone writing more about the spirit of the city than 'where to get the best X' and it certainly fits within my understanding of the local zeitgeist, especially political. Personally I feel the descriptor the author was searching for is: "it's like a Cheech & Chong movie directed by Machiavelli!"

Personally I feel the descriptor the author was searching for is: "it's like a Cheech & Chong movie directed by Machiavelli!" It was a good article, and could have been better. I concur with your take on it here, but feel several parts were very disjointed. It is a very uniquely Vancouver take though.
