NCL Sun debarkation for handicapped cruiser made simple?

Last time we sailed the NCL Sun we remembered the long wait we had going thru customs. Me in a wheelchair and my poor husband who has bad knees. Unlike other ships the NCL Sun does not have a separate line for handicapped cruisers. Has this changed? We had a porter but he just stayed with us in the long regular line with everyone else. We are sailing in November.

I don't think any port has a separate customs line for handicapped. Maybe your husband should sign up for wheelchair assistance. My husband's wheelchair escort has always taken him through customs to taxi or shuttle.
