Barbados - Mt. Gay and Cutters

Has anybody done the Mt. Gay Storied Cocktail Tour ($50) offered on Wednesday's vs. the Signature Tasting Tour($10)? Opinions? How long and what do they do in the Cocktail Tour?

Who has the best Cutters (Flying Fish Sandwich)

Been to Barbados numerous times, haven't been to rum factory or tried flying fish. Posted this on Barbados category, but no one responded.

We went to Mt Gay Rum Factory and at the time, I think the tours were free. We were told that one would start soon but it never did. I had a drink while we were waiting and before we decided to leave. The drink I think was around $5.

To us it was a waste of cab fare to get there.

Maybe things have changed? The best tour we have ever taken was of the Bacardi Factory in PR. If you ever go there, you should do it. It is free and you get to sample about 5 different things. Sorry I was not too helpful.

I did the Mt. Gay tour over 10 years ago. At that time the tour was "free" if you bought an $8 drink. It was a pretty poor tour compared to other distilleries I have been to. The rum, however, is superb.
