Were you nervous to sail on your 13th cruise?

I just booked the Majestic Princess April 9th sailing.

I just realized this will be my 13th cruise. :eek:

Didn't think anything about it till I was booking my room and I noticed no 13th floor. So I just counted up my cruises and sure enough this will be 13. First Princess cruise though.

Now Day after I booked my air to Rome for this cruise Earthquake in Italy.

Also my mom who is paying for this cruise had an incident with her tenant

(domestic incident) and the board wants them out:eek:

I know all a coincidence but it made me think.

For all you veteran cruisers.

Did you even think about cruise 13.....and if so was it uneventful?

My 13th cruise was in 2006 and it was probably the best cruise I have had.:D

Never thought about it.......enjoyed the 13th cruise like all others.

Mine is coming up too. Probably not going to bother me though.

Never even thought about it - til now.

After checking back, our 13th cruise was during our flurry of "how many cruises can we book in a year?" period. And it was one of our better cruises, the second leg of a B2B East/West Caribbean set.

Never crossed my mind, and after this posting it will disappear from my thoughts.

Got stuck on deck 13, some odd passengers there :rolleyes:

For Italians, the number 13 is considered a lucky number and my wife was born on the 13th. She was very lucky to marry me.

I've had black cats, never had seven years of bad luck although I've broken mirrors, don't walk under ladders because that is a bad idea, don't throw salt over my shoulder after I gave spilled it, and no, I have never worried about being on my 13th cruise. You can't go on the fourteenth unless you've been on the thirteenth.

I never even noticed.

It doesn't have to be the 13th cruise for things (world situation, health, weather) to seem to conspire against a carefree cruise vacation. The more you cruise, the more things you'll encounter. That's just life. And those experiences make the best stories down the road.

Never even worried about it and it was perfect!

Only if it departs on Friday the 13th.

Never thought about it. I just checked our 13th cruise. It was my DH birthday cruise. We were upgraded to an aft balcony. Glorious. :D

Coiincidently strange things happened since I booked.

But obviously not gonna stop me cause exactly I have to cruise to make it to 14:D

So hopefully this will be my best cruise ever aboard a brand new ship and I will be a Princess convert because it was so awesome:cool:

I look forward to my 13th cruise. We only have 7 so far with another one booked for next October. I really want to get one in before that though. I don't have superstitions about numbers, colors, etc. I find them ridiculous.

I had to look it up. :) Two weeks on the Golden Princess, and it was great. I was born on the 13th, so I consider it my lucky number.

Just like the 13th floor, skip the number. This is actually your 14th cruise!

I haven't had 13 cruises yet, and I've already lost count.

I can't wait for our 13th cruise, although it's a long way off.

My husband and I met on Friday 13th, we married on the 13th and we live in number 13 so we consider it our lucky number. I guess it's all a matter of perspective.
