And if you refill your own water bottles at the dispenser in the buffet, first fill one of the provided glasses then transfer the water to your own bottle or thermos. Never put your own container right under to dispenser so there's no chance of contamination.

Some ports now won't let you take plastic bottles off the ship! Takeaway coffee cups as well. They don't want your refuse filling up their landfills. We saw that in Alaska. It's much better to use your own insulated cups than to bring lots of plastic bottles of water on board with you.

Can you still bring water onboard on Celebrity?

Thank you!

Yes, you can bring water on board. As mentioned, many will bring an empty bottle and properly refill it. The water is of excellent quality on the ship.

If you have a beverage package, bottled water is included.

We refill our own insulated travel cups ....but always fill from cups . Watch how disgusting people are.. they refill cups they have had their mouths on.. so germs transfer from the cup to the lever. Also I have watched people use fingers to press the lever

On the ships we have been on, they try to sell you bottled water as you line up to get off of the ship.

Interesting. What ports are you talking about? Did 14 nights in Alaska (a b2b) this past May and took a water bottle with me each time as I need to take medication during the day.

I'm not sure if it's the same water machines across all the ships, but I am recently off Solstice and I'm not sure how else you would fill the water without using your fingers. It's the machine with the ice and one single water spout on the right. It's not the traditional "push glass forward" like on the juice machines. There's this awkward metal lever that you have to manually jigger with your hands to get the water to come out.

My complaint about the water is that they need more dispensers. Seriously, one water spout for the entire drink station? I got stuck behind someone filling multiple glasses to fill their 32 ounce Hydroflask on more than a few occasions.
