Pre Cruise Shopping

Recommended Posts

Ha! I am getting a little excited for our cruise which still isn't for months. This AM I bought a blinged out Pirate shirt and pirate ears on Etsy. Nails from Jamberry (have you seen the Disney line going out of stock soon?--I buy them on eBay so I can get the half sheets for less) and I am considering a Disney Oragami Owl inspired custom necklace. Am I the only one who gets just as excited to pre-shop for Disney? What am I missing? What else is 'themed' on the cruise I may want to be ready for?

PS--I may be slightly crazy :)

We just went on our first cruise in February. I had so much fun shopping for it! I got us cheesy matching shirts for the first day. Mickey pirate decals for pirates night. My two year old a Minnie outfit and myself a coordinating red polka dot skirt. And everyone Mickey or Minnie pajamas.

We're going on a Royal Caribbean cruise next year and I'm already missing having a theme to shop for.

Thus far I've bought:

Two Minnie onsies (have black leggings)

Melissa & doug Princess magnets

Two sets of princess little people

Frozen uno cards

I have a few items in my Amazon cart. We don't buy stuff on ship or trinkets in port, I do Tinkerbell gifts each. Mostly stuff they 'need'-swimsuit, towel, bath soap, sunblock (FROZEN), princess night gowns (2 Elsa ones so far). And stuff to keep busy at dinner, in cabin, crafts, sticker book, color wonder. I need to go light because Christmas and Bdays. Plus three now, not one.

Kid wants an Izzy costume, we already have pirate night stuff for us, but kid grows, need something for littles- dd wore jeans and red & white shirt, no shoes and the free charm bracelet from ports her first year, Tinkerbell second.

We will each have a shirt/outfit for boarding, :D

I keep a cruise/travel stash of stuff. 😳
