Getting to Mourne Rouge beach

Hi. We are in port 1pm -7pm and are thinking about heading for Mourne Rouge beach. Is there a bus service, or do we need to get a taxi? How much roughly should this cost us ( 2 adults and a 4 year old). Also, another poster mentioned bouncy castles! Can anyone confirm this as they would be a hit with said 4 year old. Thanks.

There is nothing but white sand at Mourne Rouge. There are sunbeds but no umbrellas. Just the trees for shade. Snorkelling is not brilliant but on two different visits we saw sea snakes. A couple of bars if you want drink or food.

You would need a taxi and arrange the return pickup time.

Hi there. As BBC Beach is off the beaten track a bit for buses it would be better to go by Taxi. When you get to the cruise liner terminal ask the taxi association for their rates - they are extremely fair and may even do a discount if there are a large group of you.

The bouncy slides/water inflatables are back on the beach and are ideal for the kids (and some adults too :))

We do not have sea snakes here in Grenada but we do have some wonderful spotted eels that do look somewhat like them

Is BBC Beach the same as Mourne Rouge beach? Are you saying that there are indeed inflatables at Mourne Rouge beach? I am confused.

Sorry for the confusion.

Yes BBC beach is the same as Morne Rouge Beach. The area is called Morne Rouge so some call it that but most locals call it BBC Beach

Definitely has inflatables https://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/0c/35/06/52/this-play-area-in-the.jpg
