Blue Lagoon Review

Recommended Posts

Just wanted to f/u on our trip to the Blue Lagoon. We bought our tickets on line as the web site suggests, and were glad we did. There were no tickets available the day we went. If you had not pre purchased your tickets, you were unable to enter.

It was wonderful. The place is very modern and clean. There are areas for 'primping' after the lagoon with mirrors, hair blowers etc. You do not need any type of water shoes at all, and you can even enter the pool from the inside if its cold, going thru a little open area into the outside. We bought the 'cheap' ticket and it was fine. We brought our own towels and used their shampoo and conditioner... they were actually very good.

We heard some horror stories about ruined bathing suits, but other than being a bit stiff when they dried, they washed out just fine...no issues at all. We did the mud face mask...even the guys did it.

We had rented a car and it took us about 45-50 to get there, and we spent 1 1/2 hours at the lagoon.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience.
