Welcome back to the Amsterdam and John (Copper-10-8) after their 115 Day Grand World Voyage!

According to the port schedule the Amsterdam should arrive in Port Everglades around 4:45 AM (EST). Next the Amsterdam heads to Seattle for the Alaska season.

The Amsterdam is scheduled to set sail at 16:00/4:00 PM EST (subject to change as always).

Right now (Friday morning) there is SOUND on the Ft. Lauderdale and Port Everglades webcams! Let's hope it stays that way. :D

The sound has returned for a couple of days and the web site itself seems to be operating better. At least for my aged computer. Certainly am appreciative of the efforts of the operators of the web site and I do expect to be in attendance as the co-Flagship of Holland America Lines sails. Truly looking forward to finally being able to sail on the first of HAL's new Flagships this Summer on the VOV: the "Fastdam", as she was known before being properly named: M. S. Rotterdam VI!

Will try and be present to welcome Copper back.

Now that we are near San Diego, the time changes have allowed me to be here at the computer instead of in class. Just hope the Westie's internet cooperates.

We've taken the repositioning cruise on the Amsterdam from FLL to SEA and it's a wonderful cruise. I wish we could be on this one, but the K-dam is calling our number in a few days.
