On Equinox now... What do you want to know?

Thanks for these updates. Thinking about an Equinox cruise in March 2018, my first time on Celebrity. How many dining options are complimentary? Would I get bored without some type of Dining Package?

we are boarding on Sat, and this is our 4th time on this shIp and our 12th celebrity cruise. We have only done 3 specialty restaurants. You will not be bored. The food is very good in the MDR.

In fact, we tried the porch, and to be honest, was a total waste of money.

You have the mdr which has a different menu every night and IMHO I think the food is good and a decent selection of items, there's also the buffet which is very good and has a great selection available for lunch & dinner, (if in Aqua you also have Blu) at lunch there's also the aqua spa cafe that has a range of healthy options,

and there's also cafe albacio which has a great selection of sweet treats if you have a sweet tooth and want to eat cake for all 3 courses... [emoji200][emoji39][emoji23]

Regarding my last response, I would recommend trying at least one of the speciality restaurants as it does offer a different venue to dine in and IMHO I find them all very good (most of the time)

You can normally get a decent discount onboard for anything from 20% - 50% off so it's always good to keep an eye open [emoji4]

I've seen many $5 tables on nights #1 and #2. I played blackjack and 3 card poker at $5 (using OBC promo chips)

Could you check the minimum at the craps table? It's been $10 the last two years.

Have you seen black and white cookies at Cafe al Bacio?? Had them two years ago and as a California girl I('m sure they're not authentic) I thought they were delicious!

And also, I'm appreciating the blu menus as well. May can't come soon enough!!

I really think there was a $5 minimum at the craps table early in the cruise. Last night it was so busy I couldn't see the minimum but we watched some guys betting all over the board.

I haven't noticed the black and white cookies yet but I'll be sure to try one and let you know if I see them. I've been there every day!

Thank you for posting the Blu menu. It does appear to be slightly different than what I recall. We will be onboard in Oct for the third time [emoji2] Got a good deal with the GO BEST package. How is the music at the martini bar ? used to have really cool music. I hope it is still the same

We will be on Equinox in May in an Aqua Spa cabin. Other than the buffet and the sushi bar, where can we eat lunch on embarkation day? Thanks! Last year we ate at Bistro on 5 and we sure miss it!!! Not seafood fans at all.

The mast grill should be open above the pool deck (burgers & hotdogs with fries) also the porch should also be open but that's a pay for place, and the gastro bar might be open, they also have a fee for menu available [emoji39][emoji106]

If you have wifi on the ship, just use Viber

What are the max odds at craps tables?

Is the Aqua Spa Cafe open for lunch on embarkation day?

I am curious if there are many children on board. My wife and I have been on Celebrity twice, but we have never taken our teenagers and preschooler on Celebrity. Looking at a sumer 2018 trip on the Equinox. The kids have sailed on NCL, RCCL and Carnival....just want to make sure there will be some kids (obviously not as many).

Very glad to hear you've seen some $5 tables in the casino. I enjoy playing blackjack and craps but $10 tables put too much pressure on my gambling budget (which I try to keep around $200-$300/trip). I'll be curious to see if those $5 tables continue throughout the cruise or if they were just at the start to get people in the door. Any more info on the casino as the week progresses would be greatly appreciated.

On the EQUINOX 4-24-17 & have read that the MARTNI BAR gets crowed very early. Question:

1. When do you have to get there to get a seat?

2. Is there anywhere else you can get a Cucumber Martini or a Chocolate Martini besides the Martini bar?

3. When does the Martini Bar open?

I just went to look at the teen club and was given a mini-tour! There are separate activities based on age and there is a 'bar' in the 12-17 teen club. I tried to ask if drinks were free or required a drink package and she said it was up to the management each night. Ages 15-17 can stay until midnight.

Here is a sample schedule.

Following. On equinox in July. Would like to see Daily activity list as well as MDR menus. Bar menus if possible as I am considering whether to upgrade to premium package.

On past cruises we've generally got to the martini bar around 6-6.30 and always found somewhere to sit, maybe not right at the bar but on the surrounding seats,

You should be able to get these drinks at any of the inside bars on the ship, maybe also outside but not sure about that,

On past cruises it's opened around 4pm
