Wonder what they will do as Glory does have the good 2.0 stuff

I'm guessing replace the Lido Buffet tile. It is getting worn and cracked in some areas. Maybe refresh the cabins? She just got new carpet end of November or first week of December last year in the elevator banks and atrium area. Hope they don't get rid of the hot tub in the Spa/Workout area and convert it to an exercise studio or whatever it is on other Conquest Class ships. Other than that, I'm not really sure.

The tiles do tend to get slippery, would hope they put in a red frog pub so they have a place to put the cover band where you can listen to music and dance in a nice setting. Putting the cover band outside the casino on promenade deck to me is the worst possible place for them.

I can't imagine where they would put that. Any ideas?

I was on the Glory in July and did the Behind the Fun tour. The guide mentioned the dry dock but the only thing she told us that was being done was removing the bell and some other pipes(can't remember what she called them) at the front of the ship to make more room for a bigger crew member area there. So it may just be a maintenance, cleaning, etc. type of dry dock. Anyone know which ship will take her place for the Eastern/Western routes?

The Glory does not have all the 2.0 upgrades. It does not have guys burger for one.

We were on the Glory in Feb. 2014 and it does have Guy's burgers. What it does not have is the new usb chargers in the cabins. It will be adding the new flat screen tvs and also the new BBQ dining venue. (which I understand will have no extra charge). Also the new seafood, which charges a la carte.

Some new décor, etc.

We will be sailing about 2 weeks before the upgrade. But, too late to change now. We are a group of 24.

It already has flat screen TVs. Is it getting different ones?

OH. Not sure. I know it did not have in our cabin on the Glory in 2014. They were still sitting in the cubby hole. Not on the wall like I think they are all getting.

I could be wrong. Can't remember where I saw the info, but I am thinking on John's blog.

Thanks,

I have been on the Glory 7 times since 2013 and they had the flat screens since then. I can't imagine they could get any bigger because they have to fit in the cubby hole. I doubt they would take down the whole entire area and redo it but you never know.

What seafood place? Are you referring to the Seafood Shack on Vista? I would doubt that Glory would get one, not vcery much free room to put one in.

Hey vwrestler171,

I was wondering where/how you got that "cruising profile".

Love that,

Thanks,

Are you referring to last item on my signature?

I didn't know Freedom had that so I had to look at my brochure. They took out Club O2 and put the Red Frog Pub there. Makes sense. I couldn't imagine where else it would fit. Thanks for the info!

Best part of red frog pub is giving cover band its own place to play and we can dance.

Hope they do it on the entire Conquest class

Most likely sailing on the Glory in Sept. 2017. My fingers are for sure crossed for the Red Frog Pub and the replacement of Fish and Chips with the BBQ. Contrary to a lot of opinions, I'd even really like to see the Seafood shack like they're doing on the Conquest. I wouldn't mind splurging on some snow crab to crack while drinking a few beers and watching the ocean go by :)

Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
