Parking: Wyndham San Diego Bayside - Airport Parking Connection

Has anyone used Wyndham San Diego Bayside Airport Parking Connection?

$79 for 7 day self parking or $100 for 7 day valet parking.

Just wondering if anyone had problems or issues while parking there. Seems like a reasonable place to park.

Do you savvy cruisers have other parking tips to share?

We enjoyed our stay/park package at the Wyndham. There just is no more convenient place to stay. 5 minutes after disembarkation we were in our car and on our way. No problems getting a covered space, no problems at all.

We are using their parking for our 18 day Hawaii cruise. Good to know it is safe to park there.

That lot is a favorite of the RVer set.

We have used it twice before, and will be using it again in February. It is one of the best parking deals going, IMO.

We pull into the cruise terminal area first to drop off our checked luggage, then drive to the street behind the Wyndam, show our parking registration to the parking lot attendant and park in the covered parking garage! Easy!

At disembarkation, depending on how many bags we have, we will either wheel them across the street and into the parking garage, or one of us will stay with the bags outside the terminal, and the other will retrieve the car and drive around the block to pick up the bags and the one who stayed with the bag.

So very convenient, without breaking the bank. :D

The Wyndam also has a courtesy shuttle to the pier across the street. It seem strange, but it is much safer than using luggage carts to go 200 yards or so.

We have been parking there for the past 7 years and its safe and easy. We stay the nite before and then just roll our bags across the street to the terminal and reverse that upon our return. There is covered parking and we get a deal thru one of the online parking companies and its cost us about $60. for 8 days. :):)
