Eurodam Main Deck Rooms

We are booked in a J cabin on deck 1 (main), and I noticed that the Queen's Lounge with the new blues club is above us in Cabin 1058. I heard things like "No one is up on HAL past 10"... things like that, anyways, does anyone think I should move? My mother has a weird sleeping pattern and she could be fast asleep for a whole day, or just not even sleep for 24 hours. I don't want noise to bother her, but I don't move categories as the price went up already. I can change cabins in the J category and they are plenty of them.

Anyone have a suggestion or is there not a noise concern to worry about?

Thank you!

Was on the Eurodam this September in a J cabin on the main deck. I had J 1049, which is partially under the Queen's Lounge but not as much as J 1058. You may want to relocate to one of the J's more forward (J1034 for example). Personally, I did hear faint rumblings from the BB King Band and the after-hours disco but you have to be a really light sleeper for it to bother you. The sound was more apparent on the hallway than in the cabin itself.

Move to starboard side. I've had any number of starboard J-cabins on Main Deck, and every single one of them was quiet. Friends in a port side cabin heard every note.

No matter what you see posted here about the ship being a ghost town after 10:00 PM, that is simply not true; take it from one who is leaving the dining room around then, and still has an evening in front of her. I am not alone.

There will be activity at night, and music, music, music in the Queen's Lounge. Get out from under it, or prepare to enjoy it until close to midnight.

We stayed in this cabin (1058) last month on Eurodam in Mediterranean. I usually sleep like logs, so it didn't bother me at all. But DH couldn't sleep until 2am whenever the band was playing (that meant most of nights during the cruise).

I think you should change room if you can.

Ditto the above but keep in mind also that on starboard side it's Billboard Onboard now which has the pianos, etc. so you may need to consider that as well. Closer to midship the better as you're less likely to be under anything but the deck plans will show you for sure

I picked one underneath the walkway, between the casino/billboard and the lounge based on comparing Deck 1 & 2.

Thank you!!

Why those two cabins? What's the white space on one side? Service area?

Those two cabins are as close to mid-ship, and as far away from the entertainment areas one deck up, as you are going to get. Cabin 1074 is an accessible cabin, so not for most passengers; cabin 1073 is for everyone.

The area on one side of the both cabins is a short corridor to a crew door and interior space. On the other side of that corridor is a service room and a public rest room; the men's room is port side, and women's is starboard.

That's why I mentioned those but unlike sharp-eyed Ruth I did not notice that one of the cabins was handicap accessible.
