Hi,

Booked to go on MSC Fantasia in August and have been given room number 10097. Has anyone got any info on this room with regards to location and worries about feeling sea sick.

Thanks

Mark

Here is the locatiion. Just at the dividing line between forawrd and midships, so that's good from the point of not inducing seasickess. Likewise it is not considered a hgih deck also good from the point of not inducing seasickess.

Hey Pete, love your work! Would like to ask your thoughts on Cabins 12089 on MSC Fantasia and 12098 MSC Orchestra. Cheers in advance

12089 on Fantasia is a great location as it is the last cabin on the forward hump before the recessed area. It will have unspoilt views in all directions and not be affected by the overhang.

It is close to a bank of lifts giving easy access to the upper open decks and down to the public areas on deck 6 and 7.

It is a long way to walk to the MDRs but that is the nature of these mega-ships,

12098 on Orchestra is just a standard cabin with the aurea experience, on the deck immediately below the pool deck, actually the pool deck bar, so there is a real chance of overhead noise being an issue.

Having said that if you want the aurea experience you then it is highly likely that you will have a cabin on deck 12 as they only exist on deck 12 (74 cabins) and deck 14 (32 cabins). there will be a lot of shade from the pool deck over hang

I've got one of these cabins (12064) myself in 3 week's time so they can't be that bad, surely. :D:D:D

Pete
