Whale watching in late January

Be up on deck before you anchor in Cabo. Beginning of February we saw many whales and dolphins before about an hour or so we rounded Lands End. Can hire a glass bottom boat at the Marina.

The most amazing whale "watching" is from a couple of fishing villages on Magdalena Bay in Baja, where you can go out in a small boat and a "friendly" whale comes up to the side with her baby to be petted with your outstretched hand. Beats any other "whale watch" I've ever been on!
