You get the free shuttle to the dock gate. Turn right as you leave docks, walk past the lightship and submarine museums and get on the private shuttle bus from the bus stop.

Regards John

Which costs 20 euros return. just google it Zeebrugge to Bruges shuttle bus.

It's a great way to get into Bruges - we'd highly recommend it. We booked in advance on http://www.cruise-express.be but this isn't necessary. The bus drops you off in the same coach park that P&O drops off people on tours. The buses run every 30 minutes

And they take credit/debit cards on the spot.

The cheap alternative is to take the ship's shuttle which goes to Blankenberge, just along the coast and a pleasant place for a walk along the sea front. The drop-off point is just across the road from the station: trains run roughly hourly to Bruges for just over €6 return.

Is the ship's shuttle bus from Zeebrugge to Blankenberge free for everyone or only for those booking Select fare. If it is payable for Early Saver/Saver fares by the time you have paid for shuttle and train it might be just as cheap and a lot more convenient and quicker to catch the Bruges private shuttle bus.

You can't walk out of the port so shuttles are complementary, it's been mentioned in a number of threads which OP possibly didn't search for or failed to find.

It worked fine for us and a fair few other passengers: I wouldn't want OP to get the impression there's only one alternative to the ship's excursions. The shuttle to Blankenberge doesn't take very long so the only down side vs the private bus is the lower frequency of the trains. The flip side of that is that it's a nice enough place to kill a bit of time if necessary.

When we have been to Zeebrugge there is a complimentary shuttle bus to the port gates but I was wondering about the shuttle bus by P&O from ship to Blankenberge there is a difference and wondered if it was free for all to Blankenberge or not depending on what type of Fare you have booked.
