Cruise Director now on Spirit?

Does anyone who is the CD on the Spirit right now, and how long he/she will be on?

Look at my thread on the Spirit leaving Venice on August 12.

Its not Rico anymore! He got off on Friday and the new director got on but I can't remember who Rico said it was going to be! Whoever it is though they are on the normal 4 month rotation as Rico was a replacement so only came on from the 9th August to replace an injury.

Sorry Jen! Didn't know Rico was a replacement for an injured CD. But maybe that explains his lack of interaction.

Jen, Colin Brown joined the ship last Friday.....Moss Hills will be back at the beginning of October.

Hi I was on the Spirit in August sailing RT from Venice. The CD was Rico who was very friendly.

Jen - I do hope that you will have Moss Hills as your CD. He is great. We have never sailed with Colin Brown, but I have heard good things about him.

I still remember our drinks at the Eurostars Marina Hotel in Barcelona a while back. Hope our paths cross again.

I've sailed with Moss before, he was on the Spirit last fall - and I'm happy to hear that he will be back.

on board before rotating? We'll be on the Spirit 1/16 for the Circle South America cruise. We've only sailed with Fernando & Judy (different cruises of course) & they are both totally amazing !

I was told they do 4 month rotations but because of the injury this time its been all over the place. It sounds like they have just replaced with 2 month long contracts leading up to Moss' but maybe someone else can confirm if 4 months is the usual length?

Greetings, just got off the Spirit today, 9/19. It's complicated! Colin Brown was with us until 9/16 and then he went back to the Wind. A new cruise director, Bob Leininger, joined on 9/16 and is on the cruise beginning 9/19. He gets off when the cruise ends and Moss Hills returns. Fernando is still out and Moss has been on vacation, so they've had to fill some of the gaps in scheduling until Moss returns from what I understand. Bob is then off for a few weeks and goes to the Cloud. He is a veteran CD, and supposedly has been a CD on various cruise lines over the past 30 years.

Don't think so, just saving himself for the 17 WC.

Fernando will be the CD on WCs. He has a new position, Venetian Society Ambassador. It is pretty interesting. The VS benes may get some attention!
