Charging Princess Casino to Onboard Account

We'll be sailing soon and just wanted to make sure that it is still possible to get chips or slot money in the casino charged to our onboard account.

If possible, don't want to travel with a lot of cash.

I think I remember reading someplace that you can only charge a few thousand dollars a day to your account before the pursers office attempt to debit your registered credit card.

So as long as you aren't thinking of donating more than that in one hit you should be OK.

We just disembarked from the Island Princess today and my wife used the onboard account for her gaming needs. I still like to lay down the cash when at the table. Makes me have a better idea on how much I'm playing.

We both did it last month. DH charged against the account to play roulette and I used it for the machines. Very easy and it used up our OBC.

Yes, it can still be done like we did just recently.

Yes you can. Just did it the last couple days. You can do up to $3,000 per day or $21,000 total if the length of the cruise is more than 7 days.

Will be taking our first Princess cruise in 2018, but wanted to let you know that on some Celebrity cruises they offer a promotion - you charge $1500 credit to your room and they put $1700 (or maybe 1750) on your card. You get extra money. We did B2B2B in 2016 and on all 3 cruises we did the promo - we play slots

No service charge in Princess Casino if you are using your account to play or when cashing out your winnings.

That's one of the nice things about Princess - they don't charge you a service fee to charge against your account. I was used to Celebrity's service fee and kept looking at my receipts last month on Princess to find the charge. There was none. :)
