After excursion beach...

We are taking a morning excursion for 3 hours, and then want to go to a nice beach not far from the port for a few hours. Preferably, not to busy, with maybe some shade or umbrellas/beach restaurant. Looking at Runaway Bay, Valley Church (been to Dickenson before) - any other ideas/opinions?

We love Turner Beach (one over from Valley Church)

It's a lot less crowded. We had them place our lounge chairs under the trees. They have a very nice beach bar/restaurant and decent restrooms. A few vendors have set up tables (they don't come to you, you go to them.....nice).

What is the water like there and sand with entrance to water?

When we were there, there were mild waves and only a slight drop entering the water.

That looks pretty far from the ship for a couple hours after an excursion. How long does the trip take?

Looking for a suggestion for a beach close to the ship for a couple hours after an excursion. Don't want to spend 30 minutes traveling each way.
