What hotel does Oceania use in San Diego

Interesting, the last few big books We got from O did not list any hotels. Unless we just did not get the right one's.

it should tell you on the website under your cruise

look for the hotel tab

Looking at one cruise starting in SFO

they use the

InterContinental Mark Hopkins i

at $409 pp which will include transfer to the hotel & to the ship

I will stay at the Holiday Inn & take a taxi but that is just me ;)

I agree. I would also stay at the Holiday inn or check the rate at the Mark Hopkins to stay on my own. Probably should be half of the O rate.

We never take the hotels offered by the cruise line.

This year, pre-cruise we stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, Old Town. $65 per night includes buffet breakfast, and free internet. It's 2 blocks from San Diego Old Town, 5 minutes to Little Italy. 15 minutes to/from San Diego cruise port via taxi ($30 + tip) or Uber ($17) or 30 minutes by streetcar ($1.50)

Unless, I didn't read it correctly, OP wanted info on hotels in San Diego, and not San Francisco. Am I missing something?

I don't suppose the OP ever reads the reviews on Trip Advisor since a lot of people think all of them are fake! The Grant has been there forever, and in many ways, too.

Yup. Find the reviews on Trip Advisor very suspect. Can not trust a lot of them. Not all, but some. Be careful and try to also get info. elsewhere also.

What do you mean by: "and in many ways, too".

I don't understand. Please explain.

Thank you.

Enjoy your cruise. And if God wills, grant you good health, and you live and not die before your next cruise.
