New York parking and boarding

We are doing a cruise on Norwegian breakaway to Bermuda in May. We went there before with R.C but out of Bayonne which I thought had good parking and minimal traffic to get through. Question is.... We are coming from Philadelphia and I am a bit nervous about driving into the city and getting parking on a Sunday departure. Any advice from anyone who has done this cruise would be appreciated. Thanks

The good news is that Sunday traffic is the lightest of any day of the week, especially in the morning. The bad news is that parking at the cruise pier in NYC is $40 a day.

No I don't. If you post your question on the cruise critic east coast departures board there might be someone who can recommend alternate parking. The link is below.

I also found the link to the ny cruise pier parking. It advertises a 25% discount for parking for the Gem.
