Copenhagen Hotel

Arriving in Copenhagen two days before sailing. Looks like the most practical area to stay would be downtown. Anyone have a hotel suggestion downtown that will not cost more than the cruise?

Copenhagen is very manageable. If you have points I would highly recommend the Marriott. If not can't help except to say many areas are attractive and if you want to go to Tivoli on your own the M is perfectly located. It is also on the boat tour around C.

I'm sure you will have a good time:)

During many years of business travel to Copenhagen I can thoroughly recommend the Nyhavn area of Copenhagen. Well situated, lively and plenty of excellent restaurants.

Nyhavn 71 is a favourite or the Admiralen.

On our Seaboun Cruise out of Copenhagen we stayed at the Marriott Hotel. Nothing fancy but a nice hotel. Nice location and it worked out well for us.

I believe they have a club floor and I would look at booking that just for its convenience.

Check out Hotel Bethel right on the canal, but on the quiet side. Get a corner roon for fantastic views. Reasonable price and free breakfast, but not fancy like a Marriott.

We'll second this recommendation. We stayed at the Hotel Bethel several years ago before taking a North Cape cruise. We had the second floor corner room with the balcony, which was very nice. Lots of restaurants on the other side of the canal. I'll admit one night was rather noisy, but that was when the world soccer championship game was being played.
