Fort Lauderdale Hotel and Miami travel

We will be arriving in Fort Lauderdale between 10:00 and 11:00PM. We need a hotel to sleep in. That's about it. Clean, safe, and reasonable. Near the airport with shuttle would be a huge plus. Any suggestions? The next morning we need to get to Miami. I was thinking Uber.......

Yes to Uber to Miami. It's the quickest way and you save maybe $10 using a shuttle service.

As for hotel. The area around FLL is fine, any of the larger hotels that have an airport shuttle will be fine. I'm not that familiar with specific hotels though. Sure someone else can chime in.

www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area hotel and tourist info. Roadway Inn is a basic, budget motel with airport shuttles and is popular with cruisers.

UberX from FLL area to POM should be about $35-40 for the car. Good luck! :cool:

We have stayed at many of the chain hotels on Stirling Rd by the airport. Best Western, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hilton Garden Inn and Cambria Suites. We are staying at Cambria Suites in Sept for $91. There is a Comfort Suites right next door which is about 1 to 2 years old. We are also just staying overnight and taking Uber to POM the next day.

I liked Cambria Suites last time we stayed there about 3 yrs ago. Still gets good reviews. But I'd price all options and reAd trip advisor reviews
