I've tried to look for reviews on this excursion under the shore excursion reviews and can't find any that did this tour. It's one of Princess' shore excursions offered on our cruise while in St. Lucia. We have read all the tour details, but are concerned that it might too long and drawn out or is it a lot to see and keep us interested for the 7.5 hours!? Has anyone done this excursion or one like it?? :o

There's lots to see along the way. One reason it's so long is simply the distance (and roads) between the sights. Soufriere, the volcano and Pitons are 1.15-1.5 hours from the port, and that's without stops...You'll have some stops along the way to break it up. The scenery is beautiful all along the way, volcano is interesting, botanical gardens are beautiful, etc.. Pretty standard tour experience actually -lots of the independent tour operators offer similar tours...you may want to check out Cosol or James Tours or Frank's Tours...they all offer similar, but also include some beach time also...and little less expensive.

Enjoy your visit!

Thanks for the info! We really don't like to take excursions that aren't done through Princess. We aren't risk takers and even though the risk is very low, we don't want to take the chance something happens with the tour and we don't get back to the ship on time....even more so on a long tour that already doesn't get back until close to the time you must be on board!
