Has anyone used the electronic check payment and saved 3%.

Can you tell me how it works.

Does the 3% come off the total of what you owe?

If I remember correctly the 3% comes off what you are paying. For example, you still owe $3000, but you are paying $1000 by check, and $2000 by credit card. They will take the 3% off the $1000. The amount of your ACH debit from your checking account would be less $30 or $970.

Used it and saved a little money, so I liked it.

We paid by e-check in December. We got 3% off the total bill. We did it by phone. We gave the rep our checking account info. Very easy. The deduction showed on our account the next day.
