We did R429, one deck down and over one from M427. Yes, they can see your balcony, and possibly from your knees down if the curtains are open. There is reflective coating on the glass for additional privacy..

 

Also worth noting is very few people hang out on the skywalk. You are more likely to see an unfortunately skirt related incident than they are to see you.

Has anyone stayed in M522 or M527. I know there is concern about Skywalk. What were your experiences? Would you stay there again?

Trying to be sure about location of M527 not M427.....M527 appears on the deck plans to be away from the sea walk.......hope I'm correct...hope someone here can say for sure....

If the OP is indeed talking about Marina Deck cabins 527/522:

 

Here is a screenshot from a Youtube video walking aft through SeaWalk. The Lido Deck overhang is rather extensive, and blocks from view pretty much anything above the handrail (the dark glass area you see, and where 'X' marks the approximate spot of where M527 is).
