For those interested, the Nat Geo Traveler magazine did a very good three days in Barcelona piece in the current edition Feb/March 2017.

 

Appreciate this "heads-up" for this article. Will take a look. Super loved Barcelona from our visiting there twice. Great town with such wonderful history, charm, character, architecture, food, etc.

Did a June 7-19, 2011, cruise from Barcelona that had stops in Villefranche, ports near Pisa and Rome, Naples, Kotor, Venice and Dubrovnik.
