New BBC TV Channel Launches Exclusively on P&O Cruises and Cunard Ships

I look forward to seeing if there is anything worth watching in February. Sadly on P&O but Cunard don't do Northern Lights trips.

Going in July on the Mary and looking forward to seeing the Channel content..

Can only hope the content is better than soaps and Alan Carr Chatty Man! The BBC has a better portfolio of programmes than that.

The article was dated in January and says available now so yes, should be on all ships.

Yes it has started, with #37 being BBC HD and #36 being ITV Choice

# 36 showing, Coronation Street, Suprise, Suprise, Grantchester, Tipping Point, Birds of a feather, Judge Rinder, Murdoch Mysteries, Benidorm, The Chase and This time next door.

# 37 showing Death in Paradise, Africa, Top Gear, Antiques Roadshow, Casualty, Pramface, Doctors Last Tango in Halifax, East Enders, Holby City and Whitchaple.

Can think of better things to do then watch though !

Although we watch very little television at sea, we are delighted that Coronation Street is being shown. Of course, if the broadcast time clashes with a RADA performance, especially Shakespeare, the live theatre will get our attention.

I'd rather they put their efforts into presenting the news channels in true HD rather than upscaling an SD satellite feed. It was easy to tell which programming was received over satellite and which originated from HD recordings carried on the ship.
