Lots of interesting posts here. But, did anyone book a WC 16 or 17? Segments? Just curious.

We did for HAL's 2017 world cruise. We retire four days earlier so we will be ready to go!

Booked HAL WC 2016 and 2017. As with Kirk, retired and now off to see the world.

Booked the HAL 2017 WC segment from Hong Kong to Fort Lauderdale while aboard the Prinsendam this fall.

Booked Oceania 2017 -- 6 mos.

I'm booked on the HAL 2017 World Cruise. I will be blogging as well.

We are booked. Two segments for 2017. One on Queen Elizabeth San Francisco to Sydney. Thirteen days in Australia. Then on the Queen Victoria Sydney to San Francisco. We are a family of five. We will be homeschooling on the road and can hArdly wait.

Terry & I are planning to continue working thru thru 2020.

Our plan is to do a world cruise in January 2021. (maybe more than 1 if possible).

I realize it is a long way off but it is something to plan for and dream about.

In the meantime, we are doing at least 2 cruises a year.

I started planning and dreaming about my first world cruise in 1996. I took it in 2014, the year after I retired! Never too early to start. Try to read as many world cruise blogs that you can as part of your planning. I learned lots of useful information through other people's experiences on a WV.

I am in the process of planning for my second one now - they are addictive!;)

Recently booked the 'second half' of the HAL grand world voyage (HK to FLL).

Looking forward to meeting PAX on this epic voyage.

Now resisting pressure to book the whole thing (FLL to FLL).

We would love to do this type of cruise when the wife retires at the end of 2019. There are a lot of other long distance ones available 30-60 days that we intend to do in retirement.

We are booked on Sea Princess 106 night world cruise 2017. Sydney Australia to Brisbane Australia :)

Booked in June 2016 with ocean view. No on board credits, but just got nice price reduction on Sydney. HK

I have looked at routes for many many years on my preferred lines, Cunard and Princess. Princess won for these 3!

Cannot wait. 197 days until Feb 12 depart.
