Rotterdam & Westerdam Port Everglades/Nieuw Amsterdam St. Maarten - March 30, 2017

The Rotterdam and Westerdam are in Ft. Lauderdale and heading across the Atlantic. The Rotterdam will be back in the USA in September for New England/Canadian cruises and will call on Ft.Lauderdale on October 24th on her way to Tampa. The Westerdam will be in the Mediterranean until she returns to Ft. Lauderdale on November 8th on her way to the West Coast.

 

The Rotterdam will be docked at Pier 26 (port alongside) and the Westerdam at Pier 19 (starboard alongside) and both are scheduled to set sail at 16:00/4:00 PM EDT (subject to change as always).

 

Also in Port Everglades are Royal Princess (2), Island Princess (21) and Independence Of The Seas (29).

I'm sitting at the gate on Philly waiting to board the flight to FLL

Westy here I come [emoji898][emoji3]

I plan to be on my balcony for sail a way.

Portside deck 6 , last verandah before the stern I have a white flag with a blue HAL logo on it.

Rotterdam's roll call will be a waving to you all. Sports Deck, mid ship. Toot banner and HAL banner. And a LOT of smiling faces!

 

Took me a minute to spot her with the other bigger ships in the way!

Will be viewing as well...last contract for my daughter sailing on Rotterdam. No more sea life :(

 

What does your daughter do on board? We can say hi for you if you like :)

She is prominently displayed in front on FLL-SW.

She is the CAC Host. She will join today and leave in Lisbon. Very short fill-in contract. Then she and her husband are giving up sea life and moving to Seattle. :loudcry:

I wasn't looking at the webcam - was looking out our window / Balcony at Embassy Suites ;). Different view from there ;)

We are almost home with the Grand lady. She is in good shape for you Angel. Showing her age but still the Queen.

Thank you. I'm now in FLL airport, just waiting for transfer to ship.

I did request a wave. Look for the white flag with blue HAL logo , last verandah portside deck 6.
