Cunary Responses to Member Reviews

I was glancing through some recent QM2 Member Reviews today and I discovered several where a Cunard PR person had responded to the review! Although I check out the reviews only infrequently, I don't recall ever seeing a response to any review, on any line, from the cruise company. Is this a new phenomenon? I hope so. It is some indication that Cunard monitors at least the review portion of this website. That can only be a good thing, right?

There's a rep. from Celebrity does the same on the Celebrity blog.

Viking also monitor Cruise Critic pages though the real responses for Cunard and P&O can be found via Facebook.

Azamara have a for years had a nominated individual who's job it is to read the comments and respond. The company President also reads the board and responds. Things have changed on issues raised because of this interaction.

I've never seen or read of any Cunard response here. Quite a contrast to Crystal, when a few years ago, I made some disappointed comments on a post on their CC forum. The next evening, my immediate complaints were addressed and were followed up with by their F&B manager. (By the way, my complaints were more observations and by any measure quite trivial - especially on the first night). I cannot imagine a more responsive reply which went above and beyond any expectations.

 

But not Cunard.
