4233 on Main Deck is a lone inside cabin at the very aft on Spirit, with no other inside cabins anywhere near it. It is listed as 225 sq ft where all the other non-wheelchair insides are 185 sq ft. Has anyone sailed in the cabin or know why its bigger? Is there any disadvantages to be aware of?

goccl's website lists it at 185 sq.ft. (which, btw, is closer to 150-160 in actuality). It doesn't appear to be any larger on the deck plans either. The laundry room is nearby, perhaps sharing a wall (?), which might not be good.

According to Carnival's Spirit class cabin specifications at goccl, this inside is listed at 185 sq ft (not 225). Where do you see it listed differently?

For the actual ship called Carnival Spirit, I have just done a dummy booking.

Room 4233 is a category 4B interior

Before choosing the room, it says for Category 4B

4B Avg 185 Sq Ft

But this is what it says for room 4233 if you select it

Stateroom Number:4233

Side:Starboard

Position:Aft

Location:Inside

Size:0225 square feet

Deck Code:Main

Deck Name:Main

Bed Config:Twin / King

Amenities:Shower

Up to 2 guests in this stateroom.

For every other 4B room, it says 185 square feet

Thanks BigJim61, you are backing up what I see. No idea why the size difference though. Guess I'll find out if its correct or not when I board.

I am guessing not correct. But if not correct, I am wondering if Australian adverting laws cover you so that you have to get compensated.

Make sure you pack a tape measure!

My adult kids had that cabin two different times and it was fine. No noise and it is just a few steps to the stairs down one deck to the promenade so almost like having a balcony cabin.:D

I didn't notice that cabin being larger than the standard 185q ft.
