Carnival Dream Extended Aft Balcony Rooms

What is your experience with these rooms? I'm looking at booking few on the 8th floor. Thank you in advance!

We were in 8475 a couple of years ago. I love being on the back but wish I'd figured out ahead of time there was no shade on this balcony. Deck 9 is the only deck with an overhang providing shade. At times it was just too hot to be out there...nights were awesome!

Thank you! I wonder if there is something we can do for shade...I have some time. I love the idea of having the wake to stare at all night and to listen to! It sounds so peaceful!

Assuming (that's always problematic) they are the same as on the Magic and the Breeze, no breeze, no shade. Move to deck 9. Still no breeze but partial shade from the overhang of the Lido deck.

However, lots of space and incredible 180° views.

I loved the aft extended balconies after I moved to deck 9. Also loved mid-ship portside balcony and mid-ship portside cove balcony. Trying an interior spa next.

If space and view are your first 2 considerations, go for it!

The only bad thing is that long walk to the elevators lol
