Along the line of Aloe Vera, I never travel without Solarcaine. It comes in an aerosol can and contains aloe vera and benzocaine topical anesthetic. It goes on super cold, and does wonders for sunburn. (As long as you dont have any allergies to ester anesthetics; because then you would be in much more pain!)

I love the wrinkle release, but somewhere I read all you need to do is fill a spray bottle with 1/3 liquid fabric softener and 2/3 water. Very cheap wrinkle release and works very well. I have been using it for about 3 years now. Wouldn't leave home without it.

I have read here and other threads where people bring snacks on the ship. I'm wondering with all the 24/7 food on the ship, why do you need to bring snacks? I'm not trying to be a smartiepants, but, why??

Enjoy your cruise

never thought of it but its light and you can put stuff inside of it, not a bad idea for next cruise!
Well at least with your $17 wrap you weren't breaking any laws.... In MANY ports it is ILLEGAL to bring meats, fruit and other unprocessed food into the country. So, be happy in the fact you're not a scoff-law.

I don't really have any clue. I know when I'm craving potato chips on board I just call room service and ask for a plate of them to be delivered if the dining venues are closed. I guess some people are just too lazy or shy to wander out to the buffet and grab something.

Room service is limited, and a lot of times the Lido deck (except for drinks & ice cream) are closed for set up. I crave chocolate, & candy in the shops (when open) is a fortune. I usually bring a bag of Hersey's nuggets to nibble on.

I pack a travel size container of baby powder. It gets the sand off your feet at the beach. I don't know how, or why, but it does.

Fart spray for the bathroom and booze. I would say birth control but my wife ate wedding cake 18 years ago so that took care of that problem.

Extra ziploc bags, just in case the "one allowed bag" for fluids in carry-on rips and for any misc extras one may acquire on the cruise.

You were the smart one As a previous poster said, it is illegal in most ports to bring off food into port - ESPECIALLY fruits! You can bring pre-packaged foods only like cereals, crackers, etc. Every ship we have ever been on (yes even Carnival) makes an announcement about removing food. The signs are at the gangway. And it's in the capers.

For the ladies who travel, sometimes the stress of traveling can throw your cycle out of whack. The selection in the cruise ship shop is very minimal, so be sure to bring some feminine products with you just in case, even if you are mid-cycle during your cruise!

We also pack lots of OTC meds. Again, the selection in the cruise ship is very small (and expensive).

I always pack Imodium and Pepto Bismol, it's my understanding they do not sell it in the shops and if you go to the infirmary and ask for it, you'll be quarantined! They take NO chances of someone possibly having Noro! And that would suck if it was only an upset tummy from eating different foods!
