Steinwerder port

I agree that taxi would probably be your easiest option. The main problem really is that the Steinwerder Cruise Center is on the "wrong" side of the Elbe.

You could walk from Steinwerder Cruise Center to Argentienienbrücke and a) catch a bus (156) to Steinwerder (Fähre), then a ferry to Landungsbrücken and catch a ship/bus/underground from there or b) catch a ferry (73) to Landungsbrücken and then a ship/bus/underground from there but I'd estimate that the trip would take you 45/50 minutes. A taxi should need about 20 minutes but will be more expensive than taking public transportation of course.

I don't know how walkable the area around the Steinwerder Cruise Center is but you could walk to the Steinwerder ferry (approx. 3km), take the ferry to Landungsbrücken from there and then go on by tram, bus, underground or ferry. Or walk. It's maybe a 20 minute walk from there.
