Duty Free alcohol prices Port Vila and Carnival Spirit

I was on a mission to buy 2 bottles of Islay single malt whiskies, and a bottle of Hendricks Gin. Neither Fung Kuei nor Carnival had the whiskies I wanted, so picked 2 brands from Fung Kuei without knowing Australian prices. Hendricks Gin was available from both stores. When I got home I went online to see if I’d got good deals. Vila is certainly the place to buy alcohol, but Carnival may be better if you want 2 bottles of a common spirit.

Fung Kuei Duty Free Port Vila -

Hendricks Gin 1Litre – $48.00 (Nota common size in Aust but approx. $99)

Carnival Spirit Duty Free–

Carnival had a very good price on Hendricks Gin if you bought 2 bottles. Other spirits also had special prices if you bought 2 bottles and these looked good.

Single malts didn’t seem all that cheap, but buying 2 bottles gives a 15% discount & 3 bottles 20%.

Best value I found is Johnny Walker red.around $10 for 700 ml.got 12 year Chivas regal for $40.$60 on special at woolies.your saving $20.but you better not drop it@#@#

last week a 1.7l of jim beam was $19, the botanist gin 1l was on special at $31, also bought a bottle of 4 pillars navy strength gin 700ml $49.
