FCO to Ostia / Lido di Ostia

Has anyone recently taken a taxi or other transportation from FCO to their hotel in Lido di Ostia (around 5 - 8 miles) I am curious how much a taxi ride might be.

My hotel offers transfer for a charge, but I get conflicted and very high rates. A family of 3 was quoted 25 Euros for the transfer. I emailed them and was given a rate of 30 euros for just myself. This seems too high for a 5 mile drive.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

I would expect to pay between €25 - €30 even for such a short ride because there is a heavy tax on cabs leaving the airport.
