Pisa to Livorno

We are taking the train from Livorno to Florence, and considering a quick stop in Pisa on the return. Does it make sense / Is it possible to get a taxi from Pisa back to the ship in Livorno so that we would avoid a train change at Pisa Centralle, and then the taxi/bus back from Livorno train station to the port? If so, any idea on what the price may be? We will be travelling on a Sunday.

Hello!

We did a DIY train tour from Livorno to Lucca and Pisa on our cruise, and then took a private taxi from Pisa straight back to the ship for 40 euros. This was for all 4 of us and took about 25 - 30 minutes.

If you check the review of my Med cruise on the Carnival Breeze (2012), I posted the specifics, although it is now a few years old.

HAve fun!
