Venice: cost of bus vs Taxi from airport to cruise terminal

I was wondering how much the cost of the taxi to the cruise terminal (as as close as you can get to it in Venice) versus the bus from the airport. I think I had seen a cost of 40 to 50 euro for a taxi (for 2) and not sure if this is correct or approx. how much the bus would be.

Your prices on taxis look about right. Plan on about €50.00 from the airport to the cruise terminal.

Bus service:

(Marco Polo to Piazzale Roma) -

ACTV bus No. 15 and 45 - €8.00 for one way ticket

AeroBus - €8.00 for one way ticket

If you opt for the bus, I recommend ATVO.

A land taxi should cost 30 to 40 euro. The express bus is 8 euro per person (one way), but be aware that it stops in Piazzale Roma, so you still have to get to the port -- most people use the People Mover (1,50 euro per person) to do this.

Last time I checked taxi is 45 http://www.radiotaxivenezia.com/it/tariffe.php , bus 8 o/w or 7pp for 2 people or more 15 r/t or 13 for 2 people or more + 1.5pp if people mover used to get to cruise terminal from Piazzale Roma where bus stops. Alilaguna boat 15 o/w or 27 r/t. http://www.alilaguna.it/en/tickets1/fares All in Euro.
