No smoking in cabins or on balconies.

Smoking permitted in a few areas on some open decks, and there is a smoking lounge somewhere, I expect, there usually is, but I haven't cruised the Regal yet.

Haven't been on princess in years

What is their smoking policy?

Can you smoke on your balcony & where on the regal is it allowed?

Thank you

At the top of the main Princess forum page is a sticky (discussion) on the Princess smoking policy. ;)

This first picture shows part of the starboard side aft promenade deck, looking aft. Just past that second little block house, on the backside, is the smoking area...

Promenade Deck 7 aft, starboard side (in this picture you are looking forward) showing the backside of the previously mentioned blockhouse....

The designated smoking area....that bench and two ash trays.

I don't smoke so I don't know were you can. I have read that there's a $250.00 dollar penalty for smoking in your cabin or on your balcony. It's charged to your credit card.

I have a Question will someone give me a WARNING before the fire starts?? I would appreciate it.

I think 99.9% of the people who cruise on Princess Ships. Know that there is No Smoking Allowed in there cabin or on there balcony.

Most people on the Regal smoke on deck 17 aft where there are chairs and loungers plus a pool. The whole area is a cloud of smoke. Only one constantly opening door separates this area with the fitness center [emoji19]

I was staying at a Holiday Inn Express one time for work and someone was smoking in their room. When the staff banged on the door the people opened it, a cloud of cigarette smoke rolled out, and the people in the room denied that they were smoking. D'Oh! The hotel fined them $250, kicked them out of the hotel, and kept the money they had paid for the room. A very expensive cigarette. Bwahahahahahaha.... I laughed out loud. It was really cool.

I have also read that e-cigarettes cannot be "smoked" elsewhere on Princess ships , except for in the designated smoking areas.

While it may be enforced if someone complains when they see it happening, people can usually get away with it since it doesn't attract the same offensive smell that cigarettes do.

From the Princess website

Electronic Cigarettes

The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within the confines of the guest's stateroom (balcony not included) and within designated smoking areas only.

I just got off the Coral last week. Deck 7, rear aft, deck 15 forward port and deck 7 inside at Churchill smoker lounge. Casino a small section in rear but no smoking on formal nights from 6-12.

We have been "upgraded" to a deluxe balcony on the Royal. Dolphin Deck, D711. That would be right above where the ladies are sitting in the 1st pic, 2 levels up. Any chance of smoke rising to that level and area?
