Disney Wonder on Webcam showing her being stripped

Giving the cost of engineering the duck tail for the Magic, and the gained efficiency, stability and buoyancy I couldn't see DCL Nort adding the ducktail to the Wonder.

It's the ducktail extension waiting to be installed.

In post #21 you can see it being fitted.

They did not waste anytime stripping the coatings off the hull!:D

They sure didn't! It looks like they quickly sealed the hull afterwards unlike when the Magic was stripped too.

Agreed.....it could b a new Concierge deck, but where is it going???. It doesn't seem to fit anywhere in the photo.

It could be. I hope they don't install it there though, as thats the Aft pool (Mickey pool) area if I'm not mistaken?

My first thought was maybe the new platform for the new Twist n' Spout slide because of the holes in it and circular cut out for a spiral staircase, but it looks too big. That could just be the angle and perspective though.

Yes she is. I've read on other boards it's partially due to additional back up generators adding to the one they already have, and modifications on deck. As well as increased fuel efficiency.

speaking of backup generators, the disney magic seems to have added one earlier this month....

I can't wait to see all of these improvements to the Wonder. I'm glad I got to be on her at least once before the major changes! They are making quite a lot of progress. I've been following the changes on a certain other blog as well!

I agree! She looks like she is in the yard to be scrapped after years of abandonment!

She will be pretty again soon, I just hope people can continue to post images and I see them before DCL get them taken down.
