Gem 14514/14014

Recommended Posts

Yes IMO, it is worth it to move. The haven is usually quiet, with it's own hot tub and pool. The rooms are also larger.

The balcony is much smaller though. You do have access to the Haven Sundeck which is HUGE and usually empty.

Below are pics of the Balcony (I was in cabin 14010 on the GEM)

I stayed in both cabins and I prefer the Haven. The aft penthouse I stayed in did not have the larger balcony which I think is on deck 10. if you really want a large balcony you should consider a forward penthouse. I didn't think the balcony in 14514 was puny but if you compare it to some others I guess you can call it that.

I still would go with the Haven if possible. I usually travel alone and I like the solitude and a place to avoid crowds.

Enjoy!!

Thank you all for your input. I have a call in to my PCC now. It's our first suite after 15 cruises in a balcony so we're going to love it no matter what I'm sure.

You are making a decision you won't regret. :)

Have a Happy Booking!
