Water aerobics.

Do they have water aerobics on the ships, especially the Noordam on longer cruises?

Not that I have every seen, in 11 HAL cruises. The pool isn't that big.

We have over 1100 days on HAL ships -- no water aerobics.

I have seen water aerobics on 2 cruises (out of 30). It would be a wonderful standard addition! I've taught it in the past and when I'm in to pool doing it on my own, I share my cycle with anyone who wants to join in!

We had it on the NA on a TA several years ago.

Love to learn what your water aerobics cycle is like, and do you use any special equipment. I would like to try something like this in a home pool and wonder about some of those gloves, weights etc that I see advertised for this type of exercise. How long does it take you to go through a circuit? Thanks..

We had water aerobics on this year's GWV. It was taught by Amanda, one of the assistant cruise directors. That is the only cruise I have been on that provided water aerobics.

Yes I remember water aerobics in the past. Not on every ship or cruise.

Can't you find a corner of the pool and do your stretches or moves?

Water aerobics is extremely fun! The routines are usually done to the beat of loud music so maybe that is why it is seldom conducted. I've never seen it but I would join in if I had.

Loud music, or music with a heavy beat is integral for aerobics to help sustain rhythmic movements.
