MSC Newbie with Random Questions

First MSC cruise coming up on Divina in September.

Previously cruised mostly Celebrity, NCL and HAL.

Questions:

Does MSC have a loyalty program and, if so, would any of our "perks" from other lines cross over to MSC?

We're going with Fantastica - can someone please confirm dinner seating times?

What's the policy of bringing non-alcoholic beverages on board?

Any other hints, secrets, tips - good, bad & ugly welcome ;)

Trying to read all I can, and we're excited to be sailing this beautiful ship. TIA to all who respond!

To transfer your status, have a look at the MSC website for status match - go with the one you have the highest level on and you will be matched to the MSC equivalent.

Fantastica dining is usually around 6.30 and 8.30, depending on itinerary

Official policy is no drinks, including non alcoholic to be taken onboard, although I have taken diet coke and champagne onboard before with no issues.

Here's a link to the info about the status match program for MSC's Voyagers Club:

https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/MSC-Voyagers-Club/Loyalty-Match-Program.aspx

and here's a link (on the UK site - there seems to be a problem on the US site) to the membership levels, benefits and how to collect points:

Here's a link to the drinks packages available on MSC cruises. If you book prior to sailing you save the 15% service charge that is added when booking onboard:
