Twice As Nice Sale (December 10 - February 29th)

What's better than getting up to $300 spending money, doubling it and getting $600 spending money per stateroom, not too mention savings up to a $100o, only during Princess Cruises' Twice as Nice Sale. All destinations are included, over 700 voyages are on sale!

Get up to $300 per stateroom on Interior / Oceanview

or

Get up to $600 per stateroom on Balcony / Mini-suite / Suite

Plus save up to $1000 per stateroom

Up to $600 US Spending Money per stateroom (Up to $300 Spending Money per guest) is based on voyage length, stateroom type, and applicable to reservations booked and deposited between December 10, 2015 and February 29, 2016, for voyages listed in this sale only. Offer is applicable to first/second-berth guests only. Third/fourth-berth guests are not eligible. Guests with single occupancy will receive the per stateroom credit amount. Spending money may be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino and expires at the end of that voyage. Offer is not transferable and may not be combinable with other select offers or other onboard credits. Spending money is quoted in U.S. dollars.

Offer is not transferable and is available to residents of the 50 United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bermuda and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older and receive this offer. Fares quoted in U.S. dollars.

Have not cruised a lot on Princess, but my two upcoming cruises allow my DH's military OBC as well as a stockholders OBC. As I read the restrictions for this new sale, it looks like Princess is starting to replicate RCCL with limitation on stacking OBC. They surely can't control the perks from my TA ( I hope!) but is this usual for Princess when they run good sales? I was already adding up my OBC before I got to the exclusions. [emoji22] Also noticed that one cannot use in casino and its non refundable. Not that $600 OBC isn't generous, it's not as much if you subtract the perks you can't use.

It is never allowed in the casino and is never refundable. This seems standard issue Princess to me.

I was questioning the restrictions on stacking OBC. The fact that it can't be used in the casino and is not refundable does not bother me.

As an aside, when Princess gives me a $300 OBC and I use it in a store onboard, the value to me might be $300, but Princess probably paid $150 for that product. Letting me use it for cash in the casino or refund it- that's a $300 output. I think that's why cruise lines want to limit what one can use a credit for. Again, I'm not saying I'm not grateful to any OBC but I think about them differently based on how I can use it.

It has been my experience on Princess that the military and shareholder credits are always given regardless of any OBC offered as a sales promotion.

I think what Princess is saying is that this sale's OBC may not be combined with OBC given by a different sales promotion that might be offered later.

That is what I am hoping! We are planning a family trip to Alaska in 2017. There will be at least 11 cabins. A good number of the people have cruised Princess before and that is the probable cruise line. Can't say for sure until the schedule releases in the next week or so. But having a great promotion in addition to other perks for those to whom it is applicable makes the choice of Princess even greater.

I called Princess earlier today and the CSR said that all onboard credit is treated the same and can be used for anything including betting in the casino. Did I just get a clueless rep? I also asked about buying casino credit and she said that there wasn't anything like that and it was all just OBC.

Do you have the list of what voyages are included in this sale? I am booked now for the 3-3-3. Am wondering if this might be a better deal?;) Dec 10,2016 Royal princess 10 day.

No change in Princess OBC combinability , same as always.

The OBC combinability thing just means if you are previously booked with a Rate Code that gives you OBC , it will be replaced by whatever this new Rate Code gives you.

You can only have 1 Rate Code for your booking.

Nothing like those restrictive RCI OBC's

No precise dates yet , just saying over 700 sailings.

Your TA should see the ships, dates and rates a few days before the Sale begins.

6-DAY WESTERN CARIBBEAN

November 2016 – April 2017

7-DAY MEXICO & CALIFORNIA

May – April 2017

7-DAY ALASKA

May – September 2016

Roundtrip Seattle

10-NIGHT ALASKA

LAND & SEA VACATIONS

May – September 2016

11-DAY SCANDINAVIA & RUSSIA

May – August 2016

14-DAY MEDITERRANEAN

May – September 2016

Is this for new bookings only? I have free grats and specialty dinner right now. I guess I'll have to see how much OBC is offered for a BB cat balcony. I have OBC (incl FCC) from my TA. What's the new gratuities? 12.95 a day?

No mention of New Bookings only .

I have round-trip Seattle for Alaska cruise in July on the Ruby.Right now we are getting practically free airfare, but cruise price is pretty high.

It says up to $1000 off cruise plus free OBC.Booked oceanview staterooms.

Will have to factor in losing airfare and seeing if cruise prices go down enough to re-book.

So, I booked an Alaska cruise a couple of weeks ago for June 2016. For the first time ever, I decided to use a travel agent that I found online. Do I just call the travel agent on Dec 10th and ask her about this sale? Since I've never used a travel agent before, I'm not sure how to proceed...

Yes, and they should have the information a couple of days before - regarding which sailings. :)
