Yes, e-docs. It's been that way for a few years. During the changover from mailed documents to e-docs, they gave you an option of a $50 credit to take the e-docs. I suspect that so many passengers opted for the e-docs and the credit that they figured they didn't need to offer the option anymore.

Really makes no difference, except that it is not as much fun.

I know that this is your first SD trip. Keep in mind that while dinner is served sometimes inside in the dining room and sometimes outside on deck, when it is an inside dinner you can always request (earlier in the day) a table on deck. This is what we do.
