Equinox, Jazz festival

Will be N.O. during the JAZZ festval on the Equinox and was wondering does the ship dock where you can walk to Bourbon Street & is it safe walking back at night??

The distance wouldn't be too bad, but I wouldn't do it at night.

Just for clarity the Jazz Fest is not in the FQ. There will be plenty of additional entertainment and people in the evenings in the FQ but if you want to go to the official festival grounds you will need some sort of transportation.

Nolatravelgirl is correct - Jazz Fest is in a central part of the city. There are shuttle buses (for a fee with an admission ticket) from at least one of the hotels on Canal Street to Jazz Fest. There will also be public transportation, taxis and Uber. There will be more info on this link as it gets closer to the festival dates:

Do not walk back to your ship at night, especially is you have had a few drinks - get a taxi or Uber. Depending on where your ship docks - it can be confusing at night.
