We are considering this cruise and are looking for feedback from anyone who has sailed with Oceania on this itinerary. Especially interested and n your thoughts on the itinerary.

Thanks very much!

We have just returned from a similar itinerary on Oceania Insignia, this was from Auckland to Bali and was quite a bit longer. It was our first time in NZ and Australia and we absolutely loved it, the people are so friendly and the small size ship is perfect. I am not sure where you are from but if possible take a few days extra in Sydney, we arrived in Auckland after more than a days travel and 12 hours time difference totally wasted and took quite a few days to recover.

That said you might also have a look at Azamara which do 2 similar trips one to NZ and one back they are however in February, their ships are the same as Oceania and drinks and tips are included.

If possible I would prefer the route from NZ to Australia because you go from cold weather to warmer but we did end up with pouring rain in Sydney which was neither planned or predicted!

Whichever you choose have a great time and after our return we are so enthusiastic that we are now looking at an Azamara cruise in January which goes to the other side of Australia and maybe we can even start in Singapore to make it even longer!
