Pre / post cruise extension to Iceland

I am seeking input/information/advice on extending my cruise tour on Viking Homelands to include an Iceland extension. I am looking to find more information. Have any of you looked into this or done this either independently or with Viking?

Did you search this Forum? There are several about the Iceland Extension. I posted a lot of info last summer after I returned.

Here is a link to the currently hot Iceland Extension thread but you will find information about it in some of the strangest place. For instance, there were some comments about on the roll call for the 2016 sailings of Into the Midnight Sun which also offers the Iceland Extension. Either search the roll call or skim backwards from the end looking for it because the comments were made at the beginning of June, 2016.
