Melia, British Colonial Hilton, RIU, Atlantis Day Pass?

Atlantis is great if you are active, it's not a crowded time, you have all day, and you buy it from Atlantis or another discount site. Melia is farther away, but nicer than the Hilton, better pools and beaches. It's $35 vs. $60, but the Hilton gives you a $40 credit for food and drink (doesn't go far).

We take the van taxi $5 pp from the pier to the Melia. Good area of Cable Beach, lots of chairs etc. and nice pools.

Hilton is convenient, but small beach is on harbor. Other places expensive by comparison.

We were told just to show up at Melia to buy the passes, assume that is the norm and should not be sold out?

UMTIGERFAN1 - Looks like you were on the Escape last month....did you end up going to Melia?? If so what did you think and did you just go there and buy the pass?? Will be on the Escape in 2 weeks (me and 3 kids ages 22, 15, and 12) and trying to decide if we want to go to Melia or something else -other things I am considering is Blue Lagoon thru NCL or just going to the free beach.
